A Verona court today imposed a 20-month jail term and a five-year suspension of political rights on Michell Dibella for an article, “Apology for Fascism, ” which justified the use of Nazi gas chambers.
The article appeared in “Utopia, ” a magazine Dibella edited for three years. In the article he wrote that “fascism was right and the Nazi gas chambers were necessary institutions to defend peoples worthy of that name. “
