Strong criticism of the Israel Government for “failing to fulfill its obligation to establish a firm bridge between Israeli Jews and Jewry outside Israel” was voiced here today by Abraham A. Redelheim, president of the Zionist Organization of America.

Mr. Redelheim, speaking at a dinner here conducted by the ZOA, stated that Israeli youth is unaware of the fact that American Zionists exist. He challenged the Government with the question: “What have you done, that your children may know of the part that we played in the establishment of the State?”

Former Gen. Moshe Dayan, addressing a youth rally at Ramat Gan, indirectly supported the attitude of the American Zionist leader. Gen. Dayan stressed the fact that, without Jewry outside this country, “and mainly American Jewry. ” Israel would not have been able to maintain the present balance of power in the Middle East. “
