A new elementary school, P.S. 134, bearing the name of Henrietta Szold, founder, of Hadassah, was dedicated today in the presence of more than 1,000 members of Hadassah. The four-story, 1,185-pupil school in Manhattan is believed to be the only school in the New York city public school system bearing the name of a leading Zionist personality.

Speakers at the dedication included Dr. Miriam K. Freund, president of Hadassah, Charles H. Silver, president of the Board of Education, and Dr. Jacob Greenberg, Deputy City Superintendent of Schools.
