A new seven-story $500,000 residence hall was dedicated yesterday at Yeshiva University. The hall, housing 300 students, was named in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Rubin, who financed it with a $500,000 grant.

Judge Simon E. Soboleff, of the United States Court of Appeals, said at the ceremonies that in the modern concept of education, religious and scientific teaching go hand in hand. He said it is wrong to believe we “are confronted with a choice between God and science,” and noted that Judaism has always had a receptive attitude toward science.
