A memorial meeting for the late Gedalia Zakiff, secretary general of the Jewish Agency in Israel, who was acting executive director of the Zionist Organization of Canada from 1954 to 1956, was held at the headquarters of the Zionist Organization of Canada under the chairmanship of Justice Harry Batshaw. Tributes to Mr. Zakiff were paid by Joseph N. Frank, treasurer of the ZOC, Isidore M. Bobrove, president of he Labor Zionist Organization of Canada, and Rabbi S.M. Zambrowsky, chairman of the Mizrachi-Hapoel Hamizrachi Organization of Canada.
