Dr. Israel Goldstein, world Zionist leader and co-chairman of the World Confederation of General Zionists, flew to Brazil today to address the conferences of the South American Confederation of General Zionists and the annual national convention of the Independent Zionist Organization of Brazil which will be held in Sao Paulo, March 11 to 14.
The conference of the South American Confederation will be attended by delegates from seven countries–Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay–as well as delegations of the organization’s youth movements Hanoar Hatzioni and Aba Berditchev and representatives of their Argentine, Chilean and Uruguayan hachsharot. The annual national convention of the Independent Zionist Organization in Brazil will be held simultaneously in Sau Paulo.
