The United Arab Republic today protested to the State Department against the “behavior” of Israel Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion in the United States.

The UAR cited especially a statement by Mr. Ben-Gurion on March 16 before the Jewish Theological Seminary in which he was quoted as saying: “I want you to come to Israel to live, and to create, and to suffer with us, and if, God forbid, should it be necessary, to fight with us.” The UAR termed this an attempt “to instigate a segment of the people of the United States to immigrate to Palestine to fight the Arab peoples. “
