J. D. C. to Finance Construction of Home for Jewish Aged in Warsaw

A new home for the Jewish aged will be erected in Warsaw, it was reported here today from Poland.

An agreement for the erection of the building has been reached between the Federation of Jewish Cultural Associations in Poland and the Polish Government. While the Joint Distribution Committee will finance the construction costs, equipment for the interior of the new home will be provided by the Polish Ministry of Works. The site has been offered by the Warsaw city administration.

There is a home for the Jewish aged now in Lodz, housing 70 old people and a number of incurable patients. But more space is needed for the Jewish aged in Poland, according to the Jewish community in Warsaw.
