Physicians in Israel to Be Required to Serve in Border Villages

Physicians newly employed in public dispensaries will be required to undertake a year of service in border villages or development areas, Israel Barzilai, Israel Minister of Health, announced today. The move was aimed at overcoming a shortage of medical personnel in Israel’s more remote sections.
