Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion resumed this morning his daily morning walk and later returned to his office to resume his regular duties as Premier and Defense Minister.

He spent several hours yesterday at the Herzlia seashore and was applauded by thousands of bathers.

Finance Minister Levi Eshkol, who had been acting Prime Minister during Mr. Ben-Gurion’s visit to Europe, left soon after the Prime Minister’s return for the Belgian Congo. That will be the first leg of a West African tour during which he will also visit Liberia-Ghana and Nigeria. He said, on his departure, that Israel anticipated cooperating with Africa’s new nations and would place its technical and scientific skills at their disposal.
