Chief Inspector of the Dachau police, Horst Raube, today told a press conference here that police authorities are investigating the smearing of two swastikas in the former crematorium of the Dachau concentration camp.

Under suspicion is a 25 year-old-youth who visited the camp last week and created an uproar when he shouted that “The crematorium was built by Americans for propaganda purposes.” The youth claimed he was the son of a former SS guard at the camp who was sentenced to a 15 year jail term but only served five years.
