Israel Gov T. to Unify Information Work of Various Departments

The Government has decided to set up a unified Information Center under the auspices of the Prime Minister’s Office, it was reported here today.

The New Information Center will coordinate the information activities of various Government departments and public bodies including the Press Information Office, the Public Relations and Culture departments of the Foreign Ministry, the Kol Yisrael State radio network, and the Public Information Department of the Ministry of Education. Harry Zinder, director of Kol Yisrael, is expected to be appointed head of the Center.
