N. C. C. J. Issues Appeal Against Bigotry in 1960 Election Campaign

Prejudice and bigotry have no place in the 1960 political campaign, Dr. Lewis Webster Jones, president of the National Conference of Christians and Jews, warned here today.

In a statement issued on behalf of the NCCJ, Dr. Jones declared that “any appeal for or against any candidate, based on religion, is contrary to American principles.”
