An Arab Trade Center will be opened in Turkey soon, it was reported here today, in an effort to improve commercial relations between Turkey and the Arab countries. Such trade now is small.

The disclosure of plans for the center followed the lifting by the Arab countries of a boycott against Turkish tobacco and cigarettes, after Turkey canceled a contract with Israel for the manufacture of Turkish cigarettes in Israel. Although it was indicated that the cancelation was made entirely for business reasons on both sides, the impression was given to the Arabs that this was done to please them and to induce them to end their anti-Turkish boycott.
