The second installment of a 14-part documentary series on the Third Reich will be shown on the German Television Network tomorrow. The series opened last week with a report on Hitler’s rise to power. The network estimated that more than 8,000,000 persons viewed the show, the largest number ever to have seen a program dealing with this subject.

The series will end with a program on Germany’s defeat and a statistical “balance sheet of persons killed in World War II.” One of the programs will deal entirely with the “Final Solution of the Jewish Question,” More than 2,040 photographs, 2,000 documents, 112 posters and 119 caricatures were sifted for use on the series.

It was announced today that a movie on Adolf Hitler’s life is being filmed under the direction of Paul Rotha, a British documentary film producer. The film will be distributed to European and overseas cinemas next year. It is being dubbed in English and German. The script was written by Jewish novelist Robert Neumann and Helga Koppel.
