A documentary exhibit of Nazi and German Army atrocities committed during World War II was opened here today in this ancient, northern Italian university city, under the auspices of the municipality. The exhibit shows photographs and other materials illustrating the deportation of Jews by the Nazis during the war, and showing the atrocities committed in extermination camps.

Dr. Cesare Crescente, mayor of Padua, officially opened the exhibit as honorary chairman of the exhibition committed. All political parties, as well as organizations of partisans and anti-fascist political persecutees, are represented on the committee. The exhibit has already been shown in a number of other leading cities throughout Italy.
