“Certificates of Aryanism” are being issued by the Naples Chamber of Commerce to industrialist and merchants wishing to trade with Arab countries, it became known here today.
The Government Ministry of Labor announced that it is undertaking a probe into the practices of the Naples Chamber of Commerce in this respect. The “certificates of Aryanism,” according to Lo Specchio, a popular Italian newsmagazine, have been requested by heads of firms eager to trade with Arab countries who must prove that they are in no way connected with Jews or have any commercial relations with Israel.
