A gift of $3,500 was presented here today to the University of British Columbia, for the creation of a Judaica library. The gift, by the Canadian Jewish Congress, was given to Dr. Norman Mackenzie, president of the university, and was acknowledged by Neil Harlow, university librarian.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
