The United States Development Loan Fund today agreed to a new $10,000,000 loan to the Industrial Development Bank of Israel to be re-loaned by the Israeli institution to various private enterprise undertakings in Israel.

A spokesman for the DLF said the new authorization brought to $20, 000, 000 the amount made available by the Fund to the Industrial Development Bank of Israel. It was described as an expansion of the previous loan of $10, 000, 000.

Meanwhile, Ambassador Avraham Harman of Israel signed today a separate loan agreement to be used for improvement of Israel’s telecommunications systems, announced last October.
