American Friends of Hebrew University Announce $12, 000, 000 Goal

A $12, 000, 000 goal of funds to be raised by the American Friends of the Hebrew University for the completion of the University’s campus in Jerusalem, was announced here today at the closing session of the group’s four-day conference.

Leonard Ratner, vice-president of the organization, also announced a gift of $350, 000 by George Levin of South Orange, N.J. , and Maurice Levin of Miami Beach, to be used for the construction of a physics building on the Jerusalem campus.

A $150, 000 contribution to endow a chair in child psychology, was announced by Philip M. Klutznick, Sam Beber and Nathan Manilow, all of Park Forest, Illinois, was announced. Several new members of the Society of Founders of the University, individuals who have contributed $25, 000 or more, were initiated.
