More than 1,200 Jewish sportsmen from 33 countries will participate in the Sixth Maccabiah, Pierre Gildesgame, chairman of the World Maccabi executive announced today. The largest delegation, comprising 150 athletes, will represent the United States, while South Africa will send 100 sportsmen. Among the countries sending delegations for the first time this year, are the Congo, Venezuela, Guatemala, Panama and Bolivia, Mr. Gildesgame said.
