Issues which will face the next Actions Committee meeting opening in Jerusalem on April 26th, were discussed at a meeting here of the World Confederation of General Zionists which is under the co-chairmanship of Mrs. Rose L. Halprin and Dr. Israel Goldstein. Plans were made for a full executive meeting of this Confederation in Jerusalem on April 25th.
The co-chairmen took note of an announcement made by the World Confederation headed by Dr. Emanuel Neumann concerning the possibility of now forming a single worldwide union of General Zionists. They stated, “such unity can be achieved only if the basic principle of non-affiliation of Zionist groups in the Diaspora with political parties in Israel, on which our Confederation is founded, is sincerely and meticulously observed.”
