A plant for the manufacture of woolen products will be built in Kiryat Gat, 20 miles north of Beersheba by Israel Pollock, a Chilean industrialist, and president of the Zionist Organization in that country, it was reported here today.

The plant, which will cost 9,000,000 Israel pounds ($5,000,000) to build, will initially produce woolen yarns and will eventually have facilities for weaving and finishing a variety of garments. The factory, which will employ some 250 workers, is expected to export $2,000,000 worth of goods annually, about one-third of its anticipated production.
