Pravda Threatens USSR May Reconsider ‘substantial’ Aid to U.a.r.

The Soviet Union may “reconsider” its policy of giving “substantial” aid to the United Arab Republic, according to a threat yesterday in Pravda, the official organ of the Soviet Communist party.

The Pravda article appealed to Cairo propagandists to halt their current anti-Soviet agitation, which, it said, harmed only Arab national interests and played into the hands of the “Western imperialists.”
