Walworth Barbour, the new United States Ambassador to Israel, called on Premier David Ben-Gurion today for an “acquaintance meeting.” Ambassador Barbour, who presented his letters of credence to President Izhak Ben-Zvi last week, lauded Israel’s achievements during the past 13 years.
