The American Embassy in Israel has donated 50,000 Israeli pounds ($28,000) to Tel Aviv University, for the establishment of a chair in American literature, it was announced here today. The chair will later become part of a department of English language and literature.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
