The United States will be represented at the Sixth World Maccabiah Games opening in Tel Aviv next week by a team of 134 athletes, the largest contingent in the history of the games and almost half the size of the 1960 American Olympic squad, it was announced here today.
The U.S. team, who will participate in the games from August 29 to September 5, is composed of 119 men and 15 women from 22 states. They range in age from 13 to 68. They will compete in a 13-sport Olympic-type program against athletes from 31 other nations.
