The Police Chief of Tucson issued a strong warning today, saying that the city would not tolerate acts of vandalism against religious institutions. Last week a two-foot swastika was painted on the west wall of Congregation Anshei Israel and a hole was shot in a stained glass window. A swastika was also painted on a station wagon parked in front of Temple Emanu-El.
