Cornerstone setting ceremonies for the Daughters of Israel Pleasant Valley Home, a new $2,500,000, 160-bed home for the aged and chronically ill, were held at the home’s new site in West Orange, New Jersey. The funds for the Home are being raised by the Jewish Community Foundation. The new home will replace the present Newark facility. It will continue to serve the Jewish Community of that city and its environs.
