The Belgian Jewish Consistory sent a cable of congratulations and greetings today to Msgr. Suenens, the new head of the Belgian Catholic Church. Msgr. Suenens, who succeeded the late Cardinal Van Roey, is known as a sincere friend of the Jews and Israel. The message was signed by Dr. Max Gottschalk, president of the Consistory.
