Two Jews Honored by City in Brazil for Services to Civic Causes

Two prominent Jewish citizens of this city have been honored by the Sao Paulo Municipal Council for their contributions toward various civic and national projects.

Arnoldo Felmanas was cited for his work as head of the League for the Rights of Naturalized Brazilians and his efforts in securing full political equality for the country’s naturalized citizens. Samuel Del Giglio, a real estate developer who is the founder of the Sephardic community of Sao Paulo, was honored for his work in the urbanization of the city.
