The Israel Government, in cooperation with the United States, has volunteered to provide medical training for three Tanganyikans at the Hadassah Medical School in Jerusalem, the Government of Tanganyika disclosed today.

The medical course would be one of seven years and would be started in November, 1962. An Israel Embassy spokesman said the cost of the course would amount to about $28,000 for each student for the seven years.

Applicants will be required to hold a Cambridge overseas school certificate with credits in six subjects, two of which must be in science. The Tanganyika Government will select the students.
