A report on Communism, published here today by a Catholic Church organization, says that “the organized Jewish community in the United States is strongly opposed to Communism.”

An 80-page booklet on the Communist movement published by the National Catholic Welfare Conference, ascribes the American-Jewish stand against Communism to “loyalty” to America and to the fact that “Jews are persecuted in Russia.” The booklet says also that American Jews are also aware that Russia has “consistently opposed the State of Israel.”
