Funeral services were held here today for Dr. Ezra Hayut, former Israeli Labor Attache in Washington and, for the past 11 years, director of the political department of the Histadrut, Israel’s Federation of Labor, who died here this weekend at the age of 58.
Born in the Ukraine, Dr. Hayut studied in Canada before settling in Palestine in 1934, where he became a member of the Haifa Labor Council. He served in the Washington post from 1948 to 1950.
