World Jewish Congress Parley Opens Today; Will Discuss Soviet Jewry

The situation of the Jews in the Soviet Union, the position of the Jewish communities in North Africa, and a report on increased anti-Semitic activities in Europe will be discussed here at a two-day meeting of the World Jewish Congress under the chairmanship of Dr. Nahum Goldmann, WJC president. The meeting opens tomorrow.

Key leaders of the World Jewish Congress from North and South America, Europe and Israel have been summoned by Dr. Goldmann to the parley. The North American delegation includes Samuel Bronfman, Dr. Maurice L. Perlzweig, Shad Polier, Dr. Nehemiah Robinson and Yehuda Ebstein.
