Some 8,000 visitors attended the Red Sea Festival at Eilat, Israel’s southernmost port. Attractions included a musical pageant entitled “First Meeting Between Solomon and the Queen of Sheba,” in which 20 students from African countries took part. The mayors of three African towns–Dar-es-Salaam, Lindi and Tanga–were the guests of honor.
