Andre Neher, professor at the University of Strassbourg and author of numerous scholarly works on Biblical subjects, today was named a member of the central committee of the Alliance Israelite Universelle here. He is a member of the French Committee of UNESCO, and chairman of the cultural commission of the Jewish Community of Strassbourg.
