Income from Israel’s transport industry reached a new high of 817,000,000 pounds ($272,333,000) in 1961, representing a 15 per cent increase over the previous year, it was announced here today during the debate in the Knesset, Israel’s Parliament, over the budget of the Ministry of Transport.
