A law providing assistance to former Austrian residents living abroad, who suffered damages through loss of their occupations or through discontinuation or interruption of their education, during the Nazi regime, was adopted here today by the Austrian Parliament.
The new law benefits former Austrian residents in these categories, regardless of their former or present nationality. Those who lost their occupations will receive $360. Others, whose education was discontinued or interrupted during the Nazi regime in this country, will get $240.
