$13,000,000 Raised by Albert Einstein College of Medicine

More than $13,000,000 has been raised toward the $27,500,000 development program of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, it was reported today at the annual meeting of the board of overseers of the college. Jack D. Weiler, civic and communal leader, was re-elected chairman of the board of overseers. Mr. Weiler is national chairman of the United Jewish Appeal and secretary-treasurer of Bonds for Israel.

The purpose of the development program, Mr. Weiler indicated, is to strengthen and extend the facilities of the College of Medicine in medical teaching, research and patient care. He reported that construction was proceeding rapidly on the Ullman Research Center for Health Sciences and on a new University Hospital and Diagnostic and Rehabilitation Centers.
