An exhibition of Israeli maps and other documents illustrating Israel’s problems and the achievements of the Jewish State was opened here by a group of 26 West Berlin youths who returned this week from a four-week tour of Israel. All are non-Jewish. The exhibit, said the sponsors, is aimed to serve as instruction materials in German schools.

Among those who attended the opening of the exhibit were Dr. Heinz Galinsky, chairman of the West Berlin Jewish Community; and Mrs. Ella Kay, West Berlin Senator in charge of youth activities in this city-state.

In Essen, more than 7,000 persons have visited the Israel Stamp Exhibition on display there, exhibit officials said today. All stamps issued since the establishment of Israel are being shown. The exhibit will be shown later in other cities of West Germany.
