London Data Show Trade with Britain is Up in Both Directions

Britain exported to Israel goods totaling 14,702,000 pounds sterling ($41,000,000) during the first eight months of 1962, according to figures released here today. This compares with British exports to Israel totaling 12,453,000 pounds sterling ($34,868,000) during the same period last year. Israel’s exports to Britain from January through August of this year totaled 12,947,000 pounds sterling ($36,251,000), compared with 11,448,000 pounds sterling ($32,054,000) during the year-earlier period.
