A nationwide effort to increase the enrollment of Guardians of Redemption participants in the State of Israel Bond effort was launched today under the leadership of Max Bressler, former president of the Zionist Organization of America and national chairman of the Guardians, an honor society of purchasers of $1, 000 or more in Israel bonds.
Mr. Bressler called upon Jewish communities to give their fullest support to the Guardian program “if the Israel Bond campaign is to fulfill its role of supplying greatly needed capital to open up the Negev for the settlement of many of the new immigrants now streaming into Israel.”
