Abraham Coogan, a prominent Jewish publisher here, was today honored by the Brazil Academy of Literature for his achievements in the field of publishing. Mr. Coogan, who received a special medal from the Academy, heads one of the three largest publishing houses in Brazil which produces books on science, medicine and art.
