Syrian soldiers tonight opened fire against an Israeli border patrol in Upper Galilee, near the settlement of Lahavot Habashan, wounding one Israeli. The Israeli returned the fire. Israel lodged an immediate protest with the United Nations Truce Supervision Organization.
