A delegation of British Jewish leaders was assured today by the West German Ambassador in London that his Government was “fully aware” of the dangers in the work of West German scientists on rockets in Egypt. The delegation was led by Sir Barnett Janner, president of the Board of Deputies.

The Ambassador told the delegation from the Board of Deputies of British Jews that his Government was very disturbed by the situation and was giving close consideration to means by which it might be possible, within the limits of the West German constitution, to bring about the return of those responsible for increasing tension by their work in Egypt.
