The establishment of a fund of 6, 000, 000 pounds ($2, 000, 000) for the support of Israeli hospitals and yeshivot by Nahum Zeev Williams, a British financier who lives half a year in London and half a year in Jerusalem, was announced here today. The fund will be administered by the Heichal Shlomo Religious Center.

The fund comprises shares in real estate and insurance holdings in Britain, the Palestine British Bank and the Eliaz Wine Co. Certificates for the shares were presented today to Interior Minister Moshe Shapiro, who is a chairman of the fund, at ceremonies attended by Chief Rabbi Yitzhak Nissim. An earlier grant by Mr. Williams financed the establishment of a planetarium at the Hebrew University.
