Haim Peled, director general of the Israel Ministry of Police, arrived in Paris today at the invitation; of the French Government to study police and prison methods throughout France. He will be received tomorrow by the French Minister of Justice and other officials. He immediately began a tour of detention places in France and planned to visit both open and closed jails throughout the country.
