Pope Paul Vi Replies to Greetings Sent by Italian Jewish Communities

The Union of Italian Jewish Communities today received a reply from the Vatican to their greeting to Pope Paul VI on the occasion of his election. The Vatican telegram, which was signed by Cardinal Cicognani, declared: “The Holy Father accepts with sincere satisfaction the kind congratulations extended by you on the occasion of his accession to the Holy See and takes joy in reciprocating them with prayers and good wishes.”
