The filing deadlines for various New York City business tax returns which would have been due this year on Friday, September 20 have been extended to Monday, September 23 because the earlier date is the second day of Rosh Hashanah, it was announced here today.
Returns affected by the three-day extension due to the Jewish Holy Day include those for quarterly payments on sales tax, commercial rent or occupancy tax, amusement tax and the hotel room occupancy tax.
